Kristianstad is a very visible spot on the cultural map of Southern Sweden: several festivals, a museum where you can both learn about Swedish film as the first Swedish film studio was built and in those days some hoped that the town would become a Swedish Hollywood.

Here you can also see the biggest collection of Miró posters, art gallery, the 100-years-old theatre, and a number of night clubs with good entertainment.

And people rush to Kristianstad during its annual town festival, Kristianstadsdagarna, but also to the world famous Kristianstad Jazzfestival!
